Labor day is dedicated to all the hard workers and laborers to celebrate and enjoy and we can’t think of anyone that works harder than moms. So it is your turn to fully enjoy your three day weekend!

Here’s some great ideas to do at home or in your town!

Deal Hunting – Check out your local attractions, zoos, and museums. Most of your local places have great deals for the entire family on Monday, some even have specials for the entire weekend!

Geocaching – A Free and Fun family event is Geocaching! It’s a real world treasure hunt, you bring something to put in the container but you also get to take something for all of your hard work! Festivals – Festivals! Festivals! Festivals! There is a bunch of different events going on and all you have to do is google Labor Day and the city that you live by. From Buffalo’s National Buffalo Wing Fest to the Shrimp & Petroleum Festival in LA or the Music Festivals in Memphis. Picnics – It’s picnic time-have a nice relaxing day at a park or even at home. Go all out with what’s for lunch make it fun for the kids by creating lunches they would like but may only get for special occasions. They’ll appreciate it and remember it for a long time to come.

Camping – Go Camping! But don’t worry if you can’t go far-go camping in your backyard! It can be just as fun and much easier than having to travel anywhere. Enjoy telling ghost stories together by the campfire, roasting marshmallows or just laying underneath the starry skies.
